[b]Our Heritage.[/b] Hall and Woodhouse is one of the few remaining regional family brewers, brewing our award-winning Badger beers in Dorset and offering warm hospitality at our pubs for over 230 years. [b]Our Food.[/b] We use regional food partners, typically from family businesses like us, who provide us with quality ingredients that our team of talented chefs (not microwave technicians!) use to create fresh, unpretentious, seasonal dishes. [b]Our Location.[/b] Located a few minutes walk from Charing Cross station and close to the Embankment. One of London's most unusual pubs, The Ship & Shovell is on two sides of the street with the cellar linking the two sides below. On the north side is a large traditional welcoming London Victorian pub whilst across the way the snug bars and alcoves make this the perfect place to drop in for a pint to escape the London fog or the tourist hordes.
